One year following the release of Peace is the Mission, Major Lazer revealed plans to release Cold Water, a new song featuring Justin Bieber and MØ that would serve as the first single for their upcoming album. Since restoring diplomatic ties, Major Lazer was the first significant American pop band to perform in Cuba on March 6, 2016. He has worked with musicians from several genres, including Major Lazer, while upholding a commitment to cultural authenticity, particularly concerning Caribbean music subgenres. Major Lazer Sound is hosted by Walshy Fire, Diplo, and Jillionaire on Apple Music’s Beats 1. He helped with the production of Major Lazer‘s Know No Better EP. He co-wrote the Chronixx song Blaze Up The Fire for the later album and also contributed vocals to the song Too Original. Walshy Fire worked on the APOCALYPSE SOON and PEACE IS THE MISSION albums by Major Lazer.
